In addition to high safety standards and small groups, it is important to us to make diving possible for everyone. We have some regular customers who can dive with us without any problems, even with disabilities!

The same applies to more anxious diving students, who we have often been able to free from their fears.

Diving Trips

Not all boat dives are the same. So that you can relax and enjoy your diving holiday and prepare accordingly, here is our typical daily schedule.

After your booking, we will discuss details such as your hotel stay, arrival etc. with you. This allows us to better plan our capacities. We will contact you 1-2 days before the first dive trip to arrange a specific pick-up time from the hotel. Depending on the location of the hotel, this is between 8 - 8.30 am.

After arriving at the harbour, you will board the boat and make yourselves comfortable until everyone is on board. Then it's time to hand out or prepare your equipment. Here you get your equipment and can mount it on the bottles. If you are attending a course, the first introduction starts now. In the meantime, the boat starts and we set off for the first dive site. We always choose dive sites that suit the weather conditions and the skill level of the divers. This means that everyone - no matter how experienced - gets their money's worth.

After 20-45 minutes we reach the first dive site. Beforehand, you will be divided into groups and get ready one after the other.

The dives usually last between 40-50 minutes.

We then have lunch with cold soft drinks at around 12 noon. Afterwards there is a short break and we drive to the next dive site.

Here it's the same as the first dive - all groups get ready in turn and start their dive.

Afterwards we return and you have the opportunity to wash your equipment, relax on the sun deck and fill in your logbook. Seasonal fruit is served as a snack.

Depending on the distance to the dive site, we will be back in the harbour between 15:30 and 16:30. You will then be transferred back to your hotel.

Khaled and Kerstin are the faces behind Diving Ray Hurghada.
Khaled has been diving since he was 8 years old and was briefly one of the youngest diving instructors in Egypt.


Kerstin is Khaled's wife and is also a professional diver. She takes care of the organisation and customer service.


Together they are realising their lifelong dream of running their own diving school.

A great adventure!
We stayed for a week in an hotel nearby and we spent 3 days on the boat with them (to see the dolphins, a diving and a snorkeling trip). It was awesome! The diving spots wear magnificent and we saw the beautiful coast on our way to those spots. The food on the boat was very good too.

The best part was the team, they are all so nice and funny. We had a great time, I strongly recommend them.
